Helmetless couple performs dangerous motorcycle stunt on Firozabad’s Agra-Kanpur Highway, video goes viral

The 20-second clip shows the woman dangerously lying on the fuel tank of the bike as the man races his black motorcycle along the busy highway in Firozabad during the night.

The police stated they were attempting to identify the couple and the vehicle.

Days after a video of a couple riding a motorcycle on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway went viral for all the wrong reasons, a similar video emerged from Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad district on Saturday featuring a helmet-less couple performing a stunt amid a public display of affection.

The 20-second clip shows the woman dangerously lying on the fuel tank of the bike while the man, sporting a white towel around his head, races his black motorcycle along the busy Agra-Kanpur Highway in Firozabad during the night.

The police stated they were attempting to identify the couple and the vehicle. “The registration number of the bike is not visible in the video, and also we do not know if they are residents of Firozabad or came from elsewhere,” Sanjul Pandey, Station House Officer, Linepar, told The Indian Express.

In the video, the woman confronts the passers-by who were filming their risky stunt, asking. “Problem ho rahi hai? (Are you having a problem?).” The footage, purportedly recorded on Friday night, was shared online on Saturday, sparking criticism of the couple’s actions.

Ravi Shanker Prasad, Superintendent of Police, Firozabad (City), confirmed to The Indian Express that the video was filmed in their jurisdiction. “It is not allowed for anyone to sit on the fuel tank and they are also riding without helmets. Once we find out who they are, strong action will be taken,” said Prasad.
