Delhi: Headless body of 22-year-old man found

A case of murder has been registered and the body sent for an autopsy.

A headless body of a 22-year-old man was found on Thursday evening in South Delhi’s Fatehpur Beri area. Police said the body had been brutalised. The body was identified as that of Kuldeep. It was found in the Bhati Mines area, two km away from his house in Sanjay camp. Police said, on Wednesday, Kuldeep told his parents that he was going out with friends. But he did not return. Police said a dog squad was also brought in to search for the missing parts.

Protesting lawyers plan hunger strike

Lawyers of the All District Court Bar Association of Delhi, who are on an indefinite strike over the delay in tabling of the amended Bill regarding enhancement of pecuniary jurisdiction, have decided to go on hunger strike from Friday.
Work has been suspended in all district courts since Tuesday. Meanwhile, a “token hunger strike” by members of the Delhi High Court Bar Association, who are opposing the enhancement of pecuniary jurisdiction of the lower courts, led to arguments between two factions of the association on Thursday.    ENS
