Gurgaon: Two arrested for murder of 20-year-old, hiding body in school washroom

The body, bearing multiple injury marks, was sent for a postmortem examination

Three days after a 20-year-old’s body was found dumped in a government school washroom at Jatauli village in Pataudi, the Gurgaon Police late Thursday arrested two persons in connection with the alleged murder.

The police identified the deceased as Karn alias Tinda from Jatauli. The accused, Akash alias Gullu and Shiv Kumar, both 21, are also from Jatauli.

The matter came to light on August 4, after the Haileymandi police outpost in Pataudi received information about a body being found in the school. The body, bearing multiple injury marks, was sent for a postmortem examination.

“A written complaint from a Chemistry teacher at the Government Senior Secondary School stated that bloodstains were noticed in the primary school’s verandah on August 4, leading to the discovery of the body in the washroom,” a police spokesperson added.

During initial questioning, the accused allegedly revealed that Akash used a pair of scissors while Shiv Kumar used a stone to commit the murder. “The two then hid the body in the school washroom. The police have recovered the scissors and stone,” the spokesperson added.
