Girl’s sub-junior camp from Sep 9

The Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) will hold a open trials- cum-coaching camp from Wednesday,September 9,at the Janaki Devi Memorial College,Rajinder Nagar,New Delhi from 3 pm onwards to select the Delhi sub-junior football team for the sixth Girls Sub-junior national Football Championship scheduled to be held at Haldwani from September 27-October 14.Interested players may report to convenor,Dr Mukesh Saggar,physical director of the college or camp chairman OP Malhotra along with their original date of birth certificate.

Twenty five state teams have been divided in eight clusters for the preliminary round and Delhi are pitted against Pondicherry,Kerala and Assam.The top team from each group will qualify for the quarter-final round. The preliminary matches will be played from September 27-October 2. Manipur meet Chhattisgarh in the opening match on September 27 while Delhi will take on Kerala two days later in their opening match.
