Friendly entry points to enmity in triple murder

Locals at the Rama Park JJ Block near Uttam Nagar are also scared after the incident and are requesting Delhi Police to deploy more security personnel in the vicinity. “Victim Deepa always kept to herself. Yesterday, we saw her at around 5.55 pm in the balcony and at that time, her children were playing in the locality along with my children. But after a few hours, we came to know about the incident and it is really shocking to know that someone has murdered all three. We are all scared from this incident,” said neighbour Geeta Sharma.

Sources said that the murders seem to have been perpetrated by someone known to the woman and not interested in robbery. Sources further said that there was no ransacking of the house and robbery doesn’t seem to be the motive. “Personal enmity seems to be the motive that entry into the house was friendly and children have been killed,” the senior police officer said. “We have not been able to recover the weapon used in the crime but it seems that something used to cut leather has been used,” police sources added.
