Four kids killed as bulldozer brings down building

Four children were killed,and four others seriously injured,when their double-storeyed house in Islamnagar,Ghaziabad,collapsed on Wednesday.

Police said the incident occurred when a bulldozer belonging to the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation accidentally hit the house while it was cleaning a nearby drain. “All the eight members of the family,including six children,were buried under the debris,” sources stated.

The deceased children have been identified as Shakreen (11),Sania (7),Tariq (6) and Salman (14).

Enraged by this,residents of the colony took out a protest against the corporation,and demanded that the persons responsible be brought to book.

Meanwhile,the police registered a case against the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation and launched a probe.
