Four guards of Noida high-rise held for ‘thrashing’ tenants
The guards were identified as Manish Kumar (24), Naresh Verma (22), Rakesh Pradhan (28) and Gopal (39), said police.

The Gautam Buddha Nagar police on Friday arrested four guards of a Sector 137 high-rise for allegedly thrashing a resident, after a dispute over parking a vehicle without a sticker inside the housing complex.
A video has gone viral on social media platforms, where the victim man (a tenant) and a woman could be seen being attacked and thrashed by several security guards at Paras Tiera housing complex.
The argument later escalated into a full-blown assault, where the man was thrashed with a stick, slapped and punched; with the woman being thrashed too. “The complainant said that he was heading towards his flat with his friends, carrying belongings, when he was abused and beaten by the guards over the car sticker issue,” said an official.
An FIR has been registered against the accused under Indian Penal Code sections 504 (whoever intentionally insults, and thereby gives provocation to any person), and 323 ( deals with punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) at the Sector 142 police station.
The guards were identified as Manish Kumar (24), Naresh Verma (22), Rakesh Pradhan (28) and Gopal (39), said police.
