Taking strict action against schools flouting admission guidelines for pre-primary classes,the Directorate of Education has issued showcause notices to three schools. The schools have apologised to the Directorate and reverted to the new guidelines.
It has been reported that BGS International School,Dwarka,VSPK International School,Rohini and Prabhu Dayal Public School,Shalimar Bagh are not complying with the provisions of the admission policy for pre-primary classes notified by the Directorate of Education, read the Directorate of Education notification.
While VSPK International School,Rohini,was following a different point system,Prabhu Dayal Public School had said that it would give preference to students who live in its vicinity.
BGS School,Dwarka had been
giving staggered points for distance,prompting the Directorate of Education to take action.
