Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjit Singh G K has directed the legal cell of the committee to provide immediate legal assistance to Kanwaljeet Singh,accused of attacking a man with a kirpan in a Delhi Metro train on Sunday. Terming the incident as unfortunate,he instructed Dharam Parchar Committee chief Paramjit Singh Rana to ascertain the cause behind the incident. Rana on Tuesday met DCP (Delhi) Sanjay Bhatia and urged him to carry out a detailed probe into the matter. DSGMC,in a press statement,on Tuesday said it was worth mentioning that those present when the incident took place had claimed the victim used derogatory language against the Sikh religion.
