The Noida-based industrialist was kidnapped from Sector 6 in September last year,while he was on his way home. Kapil Gupta,owner of Delta Electronics,was driving back to his Sector 15 home in his Mercedes car. Twenty days later,Gupta was freed by his kidnappers after they were allegedly paid a ransom amount running into crores. Police had arrested 12 persons and claimed to have recovered more than Rs 4 crore from them.
