A dhaba owner was shot dead by three unidentified motorcycle-borne men here on Thursday night. The deceased,identified as Rakesh Rao (40) was sitting in his dhaba named Rao Bhojanalay located at Dunda Hera in Udyog Vihar,when the three came on a bike. According to the police,the bike-borne assailants asked Rao to come out. As soon as he stepped out they started firing at him. He was hit by five bullets and rushed to a hospital,where he was declared dead on arrival, said the police. A case against unknown assailants has been registered on the complaint of one Sandeep who in the dhaba at the time of the incident.
