DGCA nod for flight landing tests at Noida International Airport now expected by November-end
The Indian Express earlier reported that Noida International Airport had begun preparations for the second stage of trial operations at Jewar airport.

The landing test of aircraft, which was supposed to commence at the Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) in Uttar Pradesh’s Jewar on Friday, is now likely to take place in the last week of November.
A senior NIAL official said, “The trial will happen in the last week of November. We have no further information as of now”.
Another official pointed out that the approvals for the runway, Instrument Landing System (ILS), and calibration flight have already been granted by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). “We will conduct a one-day trial and the data will be submitted to the DGCA now as part of the application process,” the official said.

Earlier this month, Arun Veer Singh, Chief Executive Officer, NIAL, told the Express that Jewar airport was all set for the second stage of trial operations starting November 15. “In the second stage, flights of Akasa, Indigo and most probably Air India will take off and land daily till December 15,” Singh had said.
He also said that the testing process is expected to continue for a month. “This data will be uploaded on December 20 on the DGCA website. We will apply for the aerodrome licensing.”
