Delhi: Three men held for theft, fraud at Trade Fair

Police arrested three men who allegedly robbed people and sold entry tickets illegally at the Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan in separate incidents over the last weekend.

Police said the accused have been identified as Shahid Khan, Ratan Singh Chauhan and Sanjay Singh.

Police said Khan was caught by a constable when he stole a man’s mobile phone around 4.30 pm Saturday. After a man complained that Chauhan had robbed items from his stall, police caught him around 7.30 pm Saturday. Five steel flasks and 11 bowls were recovered from him.

On Sunday, police arrested Singh outside Pragati Maidan Metro station, after being informed that he was selling entry tickets illegally to some people at cheaper rates.
