Free apps for Delhi Metro commuters

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has entered into a tie-up with ‘Offer World’, an application for Android users.

Starting Monday, Delhi Metro commuters will be able to download new free apps from an application, which would also offer them redeemable points for recharging their smart cards.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has entered into a tie-up with ‘Offer World’, an application for Android users, which will ‘reward’ users who download apps available in its kitty.

“To get the benefits, users will have to download the Offer World app from Google Play Store.

They can then download any of the selected apps listed and get credits in return,” DMRC chief spokesperson Anuj Dayal said.

“After every recharge, users can redeem their collected credits by entering their smart card number in the app. This number is printed on the back of every card. The card will be recharged within 48 hours,” Dayal said.

According to the app developers, a minimum of 100 credit points will have to be collected to get recharge benefits.
The app will be available after the launch by DMRC director Mangu Singh on Monday.
