A look at the scoreboard of the All India Junior Golf Tour Final, and it seems that the countrys bandwagon of amateur ladies is being led by young golfers from the national capital region. In the national final at Bangalore, which is the last leg of the All India Toyota Etios Junior and sub-Junior Tour, even as course familiarity seemed to work for Bangalore boys Chikkarangappa and Trishul Chinnappa, all categories in the ladies section were swamped by Delhi and Gurgaon golfers. Delhi Golf Clubs 15-year-old Gurbani Singh led the leaderboard in the A&B category with a score of 2 over 74. Following Gurbani closely was her coursemate Mehar Atwal along with Gurgaons DLF Golf and Country Clubs Vrishali Sinha. The duo were tied second with 4 over 76 at the Eagleton Golf Club . Though Delhis girls enjoy unchallenged domination on top, after the Asian Games debacle where Gurbani was a part of the girls team which finished at the bottom, she realises that high scores are a cause of worry when it comes to international standards. In category C as well DGCs Seher Atwal topped the table but once again with a high score of 6 over 78. DGCs Ridhima Dilawari is trailing behind her with a 8 over 80 on Day Two of the All India Junior Golf Tour Final. Among the boys Gurgaons DLF Golf and Country Clubs Piyush Sangwan led the group in Category C with a total of 146 (72,74)but his course compatriot Ainesh Ahluwalia could only manage a third position finishing three strokes behind title favourite Bangalores Chikkarangappa who finished with total scores of 146 (75,71) after 36 holes. On the opening day of Category D,Delhis Kshitij Kaul with a score of 6 over 78 leads the group while Rigel Fernandes maintains his position in Category B with total score of 143 (72; 71).
