Delhi Education Minister visits MCD school, distributes bags for students

Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood visited an Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) school at Lajpat Nagar III for a bag distribution ceremony. Over 2,200 school bags were distributed to students from nursery to grade 5 across multiple schools in Ward 7.

At the event, Sood said, the government is upgrading all government schools with AI-enabled education, high-quality furniture, and dynamic classrooms in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The event was attended by BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj; Yogesh Verma, Chairman, Education Committee, MCD Delhi and other officials of the civic body.
