The outcome of the Lok Sabha results and what they would mean for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headlined its Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting on Saturday.

Held at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on the eve of his surrender to Tihar Jail authorities at the conclusion of his interim bail, granted to enable him to campaign in the General Elections, the meeting saw participation by ministers from the AAP Delhi government along with members of its PAC, according to insiders.

AAP sources said its convener, Kejriwal, will hold a similar organisational meeting with elected representatives including MLAs and councillors at the party’s headquarters prior to heading to Tihar on Sunday. He will also visit Rajghat and the Hanuman temple in Connaught place.

“Given the circumstances, both political and administrative, the scenario in Delhi was also discussed; suffice it to say that the party has discussed the way forward in reference to any eventuality that may arise,” another AAP source said.
