Council staff get training in ‘etiquette’ during Games

The New Delhi Municipal Council wants its staff to be “well-behaved” and present a good face to delegates from various countries visiting the Capital during the Games.

The New Delhi Municipal Council wants its staff to be “well-behaved” and present a good face to delegates from various countries visiting the Capital during the Games. For that,the NDMC has decided to impart training on “behavioural aspects” to its Group-D employees. Plans on the same,officials said,have been initiated and many employees have been given training at prestigious institutes across the country.“Many employees have been trained at the Institute of Hotel Management,Pusa Road,while some were sent to other institutes in Khandala,” an official told Newsline. The Council plans to have fully trained staff before the Games commence in October.
