This season’s creations revive the charm of old Delhi. The line,Balli Maran, named after the Chandni Chowk street where Mirza Ghalib used to live,is steeped in the regal romanticism of the era. Balli Maran and another collection,Dak Bangla, were unveiled on Thursday. Dak Bangla showcases interesting leather interplays. The Speed Breaker sofas redefine ergonomic heaven. Their bumpy curves fit perfectly against body contours, and the sink-in Sepoy evokes memories of Dak Bangla life. “Every single creation,be it a bar or a backgammon set,is a statement piece. My aim is to bring a tinge of humour through my pieces, and give every space a defined character,” says Aggarwal.
