In another game,Rohin Khanna and Sahil Herneja helped Clever Fox beat Tarun Aryan Tigers by 8 wickets in the Eliminator and will meet Rashers in the second qualifier.

Bal Bhawan win title

Fine Batting by Man of the Match Himanshu Jain (77 n.o) and a good contribution from Abhishek Sangwan (57) helped Bal Bhawan School,Dwaraka beat Najafgarh Sports Complex by 7 wickets to win the title of the 5th HS Mehra Cricket Tournament at Najaf garh sports complex. Bowling first,Ankur (3/16),Dushyant Dagar (3/21) and Onkar Singh (2/29) helped Bal Bhawan to restrict Najafgarh at 146. Despite being from the losing side Jatin Yadav won the best batsman award,Dushyant Dagar won the best bowling award and the best all-rounder went to Gupil Rai.

Rohtak Road win

A fine spell by Man of the Match Siddhant Singh (3/15) and good contributions from other bowlers Vimal Pandit (3/12) and Rahul (2/24) helped Rohtak Road Gymkhana restrict Turf Academy to 93 runs and beat them by 8 wickets. When Rohtak Road came on to bat,Arun Drall scored an unbeaten 32 for them and helped them get four points in the 8th Peacock U15 cricket tournament at Gargi College Ground.

In another match in the same tournament,fine bowling by Man of the match Vaibhav Chugh (3/10),Neeraj Kohli (2/17) and Harshul Ahuja (2/20) helped RP Academy beat Madan Lal Academy by 4 wicket and get four points.

Ryan win U-19 title

Fine all round display by captain and Man of the Match Akshay Solanki (57 n.o and 3/20) and similar contributions from Jaskaran Singh (42 and 2/11) and Vaibhav (30 run and 2/12) helped Ryan International School,Vasant Kunj beat Nepal Kathmandu XI by 5 wickets to win the title of the RNK U-19 Trophy at ICC Ground Kathmandu. Jaskaran Singh was awarded the Best Batsman prize while Best Bowler award went to Vikram Thapa and Akshay Solanki bagged the Best All Rounder prize.

Kavita on LET Board

Kavita Singh,the current President of the Women’s Golf Association of India,has been appointed by the Ladies European Tour (LET) to the LET Board as one of its non-executive directors for a period of three years. Singh,under whose direction,the Women’s Indian Open has become a big success on the LET and Ladies Asian Golf Tour (LAGT) is the first woman Non-executive Director and the first Indian Woman to receive an appointment to the renowned International golf board. The usual composition of the LET Board is Chairman,Executive Director,four players directors and three non-executive directors.
