Two women working as domestic helps for a police officer in Central Delhi have lodged a complaint, alleging that they were harassed by two CISF personnel who noticed them clicking pictures outside the Khan Market Metro station.

The helps, identified as Jayshree and Rasheeda, work at the Pandara Road residence of Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Aslam Khan. Khan said,“Around 9.30 pm on Sunday, the helps — along with my one-year-old daughter,Sufi, and my nephew,Fahad, went for a walk to the Khan Market Metro station. There, they started clicking pictures of each other with the children.”

Just then, two CISF personnel approached them, stating they were not allowed to click pictures at the Metro station. When they objected, the personnel started misbehaving with them, said Khan.

“They tried slapping Fahad. They snatched their phones and began deleting pictures. They said they would let them go only if they paid them Rs 1,000,” alleged Khan. The helps have filed a complaint, accusing the CISF personnel of extortion, criminal intimidation and attempting to outrage the modesty of a woman.
