Centre notifies appointment of 38 standing counsel to Delhi HC

The notification, which follows Presidential assent to the appointments, also included the empanelment of 95 senior panel counsel and 107 additional Central government counsel in the trial courts of Delhi.

The Union Law Ministry on Thursday notified the appointment of 38 Central government standing counsel (CGSC) at the Delhi High Court, and 418 senior panel counsel of the Union government, and 252 others as government pleaders at the HC.

The notification, which follows Presidential assent to the appointments, also included the empanelment of 95 senior panel counsel and 107 additional Central government counsel in the trial courts of Delhi.

In the district and subordinate courts, the Centre appointed 12 senior panel counsel (SPCs) and 13 additional Central government counsel (ACGCs) at Dwarka court, 11 SPC and 15 ACGC at Saket court; 28 SPC and 20 ACGC at Tis Hazari court; 19 each of SPC and ACGC at Karkardooma; 14 SPC and 30 ACGC at Patiala House court; and 11 SPC and 10 ACGC at Rohini court.
