The CBI Tuesday filed a chargesheet against former Noida Authority engineer Yadav Singh for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets (DA) worth Rs 23 crore. The chargesheet was filed against Singh and his family members in a special court in Ghaziabad, CBI spokesperson Abhishek Dayal said. His wife, Kusumlata, daughters Garima Bhushan and Karuna Singh, son Sunny Singh, daughter-in-law Shreshtha Singh, and chartered accountant Mohan Lal Rathi have also been booked in the case, officials said.
During the period between April 2004 and August 2015, Yadav and his family members “were found in possession of disproportionate assets worth
Rs 23,15,41,514, which was disproportionate to the extent of 512.66% to his known source of income”, a CBI statement said. The agency said it had registered the case on July 30, 2015.
