Came to India due to love, not with wrong intention’: Court grants bail to Pakistan woman, 2 others
Both met for the first time in Nepal in March this year and stayed at a hotel in Kathmandu for seven days, police said. Later, Seema arrived with her four children, entering India through Nepal border on a bus.

“The local court has granted bail to all the three persons. They will be released from the jail, probably by tomorrow (Saturday), after the paperwork. The children of the Pakistani woman will stay with her,” said Rabupura police station in-charge Sudhir Kumar.
Earlier, they were sent to 14-day judicial custody after the arrest.
“It has been stated on behalf of the advocate of the accused that no offense has been committed by the accused. Along with the applicant, her four children are also in the jail, whose age is six years and below. There is no one to take care of them except the applicant. Due to ignorance by the applicant she crossed the borders of India. The applicant has not entered the borders of India with any wrong intention. Rather, she has come for the purpose of settling down with co-accused Sachin Meena due to her love/friendship,” reads the order by Justice Nazim Akbar, Jewar Civil Judge (Junior Division).
“The present case is punishable with imprisonment up to five years and fine. In the light of the above facts, circumstances and orders of the Supreme Court and keeping in view the guidelines of the Allahabad High Court, the bail application is eligible to be accepted,” he added.
The court directed Seema not to leave the country without informing the competent authority. Along with this, the court said that she will have to inform about her new address, in case of any change. She will also have to submit two local surety and two personal bond of Rs 30,000 to secure the bail.
Officials had said that the woman entered India illegally through Nepal border with her children after she came in contact with Sachin through a gaming platform, PUBG. The woman has been living in Rabupura area since May 13. Wishing to get married legally, Sachin and Seema approached a local lawyer who informed the police about them. Police also arrested Sachin’s father for providing shelter to a foreigner who had entered the country illegally.
Originally hailing from Jacomabad district of Sindh province in Pakistan, Seema was married off to a man called Ghulam Haider in February 2014. Haider left Pakistan to work in Saudi Arabia in 2019; the same year, Seema came in contact with Sachin while playing the PUBG game, said police. Later, they started chatting on Instagram and Whatsapp, police added.
