BJP wants to imprison Kejriwal, say AAP leaders

BJP wants to imprison Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as they are convinced they cannot win elections in the Capital, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders said during its ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ signature campaign Sunday.

“The BJP is convinced they cannot win elections in Delhi and is plotting to topple the government by getting CM Kejriwal arrested. All ministers, MLAs, councillors, and AAP workers are reaching out to people door-to-door, asking for their opinion: should Kejriwal resign if BJP manages to get him arrested or not?” AAP Delhi head Gopal Rai said.

The campaign will continue till December 20.

AAP MLAs Durgesh Pathak in Rajinder Nagar, Sanjeev Jha in Burari, Ajay Dutt in Ambedkar Nagar, Chaudhary Surendra Kumar in Gokalpuri, Mohinder Goyal in Rithala, and Abdul Rehman in Seelampur Assembly constituencies conducted a door-to-door campaign on Sunday.
