BJP to deploy 10,000 warriors to bridge gap between online-offline campaign ahead of LS polls

To include social media influencers and volunteers down to the polling booth-level, the party said those chosen for the program would seek to first “reach each voter” and then to propel “both positive and negative feedback” from the streets onto the digital sphere in the run-up to the polls.

From gathering testimonials of the Central welfare scheme beneficiaries to a content blitz attacking the AAP-Congress alliance, the BJP will deploy over 10,000 ‘Namo Warriors’ to bridge the gap between its online and offline campaign for the Lok Sabha elections in the Capital.

To include social media influencers and volunteers down to the polling booth-level, the party said those chosen for the program would seek to first “reach each voter” and then to propel “both positive and negative feedback” from the streets onto the digital sphere in the run-up to the polls.

“Namo Warriors will go to each corner of the city to gather testimonials of the positive impact that Central welfare schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi like the Ujjwala Yojana, PMAY etc have ushered into the lives of the people of the capital as well as amplify issues they face due to the AAP Delhi government’s neglect,” Rohit Upadhyay, head, social media, Delhi BJP said.

Apart from voter outreach as well the amplification of specific local issues, the initiative will also, according to sources, provide the BJP the first opportunity to target the AAP-Congress alliance in the city.

A senior party leader said this would revolve around not only equating the possible consolidation of both parties’ vote share with “the combined loot” that they had undertaken at the helm of governance in the city, but also “exposing the condition” that areas in the Assembly constituencies of AAP-Congress alliance leaders.
