Asserting the resilience of the party, Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Arvinder Singh Lovely Saturday said that no force can crush it and the spirit of its workers. Ahead of the Workers’ Convention to be held at the Geeta Colony Ramlila ground on February 3, which will be addressed by Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Lovely spoke to workers of the Northwest Delhi Parliamentary constituency. He acknowledged workers’ participation in addressing issues of the common man and accused BJP MPs of vanishing from their constituencies after winning polls. Taking a dig at the BJP, Lovely accused them of running an autocratic government for the past decade. “BJP has been running an autocratic government for the past 10 years, amassing a foreign debt of Rs 200 lakh crore till December 2023, which was in addition to the internal debt burden rising three-fold, imposing a heavy financial burden on every Indian,” he alleged.
