The Delhi police has booked a businessman’s son for allegedly raping a woman inside his house in South Delhi last month. A case has been registered against the accused on charges of rape and committing unnatural offences and he has been asked to join the investigation, said police. The woman, in her complaint, alleged that the incident took place on June 13 and she approached police nine days later because she was scared as the accused “knew her address” as he had dropped her home. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Chowdhary said, “The woman alleged that the man took her to his house where they started talking. The accused misbehaved with her and the woman said she was raped. She has also alleged he forced her to perform oral sex.” “She said she could not gather the courage to file a complaint at the time and later went to (the) police station on June 22. A case has been registered on her complaint. The accused has joined the probe and the case is under investigation,” added the DCP. As per police, the woman and the accused first met each other on December 31 inside a bakery at a five-star hotel in Delhi. The complainant alleged that the accused would message and call her repeatedly.
