Atishi meets voters in Kalkaji, highlights AAP’s achievements

Chief Minister Atishi on Saturday interacted with residents of Bharat Nagar, Govindpuri and Govindpuri Extension in her constituency of Kalkaji, highlighting the works of AAP government as part of the party’s ‘Aapka Vidhayak Aapke Dwar’ campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls.

Addressing people, she said, “Over the last 10 years, (former CM) Arvind Kejriwal has consistently provided better facilities to even the poorest in Delhi because he understands the struggles of common man. Across the country, he is the only leader capable of giving free electricity…”

Taking on the BJP, Atishi said, “When we provide these services free of charge from the taxpayers’ money, the BJP calls it freebies. But we run an honest government that prioritises public welfare. We don’t pocket public funds, we use them to serve the people. If offering these facilities is considered distributing freebies, we will gladly continue to do so.”

“People know that only Arvind Kejriwal can work for the common man. That’s why the people of Delhi will once again choose their son, Arvind Kejriwal, as chief minister,” she added.

Under the ‘Aapka Vidhayak Aapke Dwar’ campaign, AAP MLAs are visiting residents of their constituencies to explain work done by them and the AAP government in Delhi.
