Three held with gold worth Rs 1 crore

New Delhi: Three members of a family were arrested from South Delhi on Sunday for their involvement in a cheating case,in which they fled with around 2.5 kg of gold worth around Rs 1 crore. The accused have been identified as Ashok Kumar (67),and his sons Gaurav (30) and Bharat Chawla (31). They are residents of Jaipur,Rajasthan,and were arrested from Malaviya Nagar Metro station. They had escaped with gold from Karol Bagh-based Jagiri Lal Jewellers on Thursday,police said.

Trade Fair opening time changed

New Delhi: The inauguration ceremony of the India International Trade Fair on Monday,has been advanced to 11 am,from its earlier schedule of 11.30 am. The 31st edition of the 13-day fair will be inaugurated by Union Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee. The theme of the fair this year is ‘Indian Handicrafts-The Magic of the Gifted Hands’.
