AAP MLA posts photo of Delhi Assembly proceedings on X, sparks chaos

AAP MLA Jarnail Singh (Express/Praveen Khanna)A photo of the Delhi Assembly House in session, posted on X by Tilak Nagar Aam Aadmi Party MLA Jarnail Singh, led to chaos in the house, with Speaker Vijender Gupta warning him of breach of privilege.
“How did you click the picture? You will delete this tweet…. assure us you won’t do it again.” Gupta said.
Singh later deleted his post.
He had clicked a photo of the House and asked who would give a response to the questions raised in the absence of ministers.
The live broadcast of the proceedings of the House is available on the Delhi Assembly’s official YouTube channel. Gupta, however, said that while the broadcast has the Speaker’s permission, clicking and posting photos was not allowed without his nod.
The issue was first raised by BJP MLAs, with some demanding that Singh’s phone be confiscated and the matter be referred to the Privileges Committee.
