Five youths steal bus for a joy ride; land in police custody

According to police,the youths decided to have “adventure and fun” when one of them told them that he can drive heavy vehicle and set their eyes on the bus parked in front of the depot.

The joy ride lasted for almost two hours—- despite a dash against an electricity poll on the street —- before they were caught by police.

Police said the appearance of the bus on that particular route at an unusual hour,speed of the vehicle and style of driving aroused suspicion,prompting them to chase and stop it resulting in arrests.
