Youth arrested for circulating obscene MMS of dera head

Gurra Singh Brar,a resident of Sukhanand village near Moga who was wanted by the police for circulating an MMS purportedly showing a local dera head in compromising positions with women,surrendered on Sunday. Gurra is a computer science student. Sukhminder Singh Dhillon,the chief sewak of Dera Baba Bhore Wala,had approached the Samalsar police after the scandal surfaced and got an FIR lodged through village Sarpanch Parminder Singh. Dhillon is also the general secretary of a girls college run by the dera. The MMS shot in a mobile phone allegedly showed the dera head in the nude and consuming alcohol and meat. Moga SSP Snehdeep Sharma had handed over the inquiry to DSP Gurjit Singh Khosa. The police said Gurra was traced through one of the mobile phone numbers from which this MMS was received.
