Lamenting that the Centre was not keen to address Punjab’s problem of grain storage,he said: “The state government has made elaborate arrangements to procure wheat and all agencies have been told to pay the farmers within 48 hours of lifting of their produce.”

Responding to queries relating to Manpreet Badal’s accusations of vendetta politics,he said that the SAD-BJP government does not believe in vendetta. Saying that “the law of the land will take its own course,” Sukhbir blamed Manpreet for unleashing vendetta politics against his opponents.

Accusing Manpreet of having a double face,Sukhbir said: “Manpreet enjoyed power and perks for four years merely on the strength of being the nephew of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. He now feigns sainthood when he talks about the agenda of not including blood relatives in the government.”
