The court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Lalit Kumar Singla today sent the Nayagaon school vice-principal to judicial custody till August 13. Rajinder Nadial was arrested on Saturday on charges of molesting a minor girl studying in the school. Investigating Officer Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Kishore Chand told Newsline that the accused has confessed to the crime. Nadial attributed the undressing and sexual abuse of the girl to a magic ritual,said Chand. Nadial was booked following the complaint of the victims widowed mother,who alleged that the vice-principal molested her daughter on June 4 and July 24 on the pretext of giving her computer lessons. On the revelations made by the officer,another officer added,He has confessed to using the Internet for searching materials on pornography and black magic that helped him further his practices. Adding that the victims mother was employed as a peon in the same school,the officer said: Aware of the fact that her widowed mother was his employee,the accused was taking advantage of the students plight. Two arrested for molesting girlTwo youths have been arrested for allegedly molesting and confining a girl student of Government College,Sector 42,on Sunday. The accused,Lakhwinder Singh and Vikas,were in an inebriated condition when they stopped the girl and molested her in Sector 42. Inspector Anokh Singh,SHO,Sec-36 police station,said the accused were teasing the girl and when she objected,they molested her. The police officer said the accused,who were on a motorcycle,were nabbed and roughed up by some passersby. A case has been registered at the Sector-36 police station.
