Three-day fest at PEC draws to a close

Pecfest 2010-the three day extravaganza ended on Sunday night on a high note with a charismatic performance by the well known singer Master Saleem.

Pecfest 2010-the three day extravaganza ended on Sunday night on a high note with a charismatic performance by the well known singer Master Saleem. The second night of the fest,the ‘TNT Rock Night’ saw performances from The Old School Tie,Carrot Fish,Fire on Dawson and Thermal and a Quarter. The fest saw a huge participation from college students.

The highlight of the day was the Bhangra competition called Bhangra-theque where students enthralled the audience with their bhangra skills. The third and final day also saw the finals of the solo singing competition called Crochet which was well appreciated by the audience

Apart from the other fun events going on throughout the day there was also the General quiz- Eureka and the business quiz conducted by the famous quiz master Gautam Bose who had specially came in from Kolkata to conduct the quizzes. The standard of quizzing at the fest was very high. SAASC-the literary club of the college also conducted a group discussion. Alongside all these events there was something for the gaming freaks too,the Indulgence Gaming League and Retro Gaming. These events also saw a good participation. There were numerous food stalls put up like Republic of Chicken,Subway and others like The Lobby. Videocon-the title sponsor of the fest also had a fun stage where little games and quizzes were played with prizes for the winners.

All in all it was great effort put in by the students of the college and it was thoroughly enjoyed by one and all.
