Teachers suicide: CBI questions Himachal IGP

The Inspector General of Himachal Pradesh Police,Pradeep Kumar,was quizzed by a team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officer in Shimla on Thursday in connection with the suicide case of Ritu Kalmotia,a BEd college teacher.

Kumars son was allegedly having an affair with Kalmotia and wanted to marry her but his family members were against the relationship. Kalmotia’s family has alleged that Kumar played a crucial role in driving his daughter to commit suicide and also tampered with the evidence. CBI officers said Kumar denied all the allegations.
