Sunkaria turns govt land into pvt property

The green belts are meant to hold small social gatherings,say neighbours. “The area is a private property now. No one would dare to remove the fences,” said a neighbour.

Sunkaria’s neighbour in house number 238,too,has erected a gate that opens to the green belt and has been using it for private parking.“I am protecting the green belt,else it would have turned into a garbage dumping area. This violation is compoundable,” justified Sunkaria.

HUDA officials,however,feigned ignorance about the encroachments. “We were not aware of any violation in the area. I would personally visit the site and inspect it. We will penalise the violator if law is broken,” said estate officer Ashwani Sharma.
