Sunil,Roopmeet emerge best shooters

For their consistent performance,Sunil Chaudhary and Roopmeet Mann were awarded with best shooter titles in man and women categories respectively,on the concluding day of the 38th Chandigarh Shooting Championship held at Markfed Shooting Range in Phase VI on Monday

For their consistent performance,Sunil Chaudhary and Roopmeet Mann were awarded with best shooter titles in man and women categories respectively,on the concluding day of the 38th Chandigarh Shooting Championship held at Markfed Shooting Range in Phase VI on Monday. While both impressed with their shooting skills,Sunil took all the spotlight due to the titles that he won on Monday.

He first hit the bull’s eye with an impressive score of 568 out of 600,to take the honours in Air Pistol ISSF Senior (men). He followed that up with another gold in Center Fire Pistol (Men) event,where he returned with a score of 93 out of 100. Sunil then made it hat-trick of titles by winning the 25 meter Standard Pistol event. Here he scored 269 out of 300. Enjoying a purple patch,Sunil claimed another gold in 50 Meter Pistol Senior (men) by scoring 252 out of 300. Roopment,on the other hand,claimed the Air Rifle ISSF Senior (women) title after scoring 392/400.
