St John’s School lift football trophy

St John’s School,Sector 26 got the better of DAV Senior Secondary School,Sector 8 by 2-1 in the final of the three-day Chandigarh Football Tournament for St Solider Football Trophy,organised by Saint Soldier International School in Sector 28,Chandigarh.

In the semi-finals,St. John’s ousted hosts St. Soldier by 5-4 in a tie-breaker and DAVSSS-8 had made it to the finals after defeating Vivek High School. N Milan Soni of DAV-8 won the Best Scorer award with a total of 6 goals to his credit. Meanwhile,the Best Player award was bagged by Sarfaraj Singh of St. John’s School.
