Sidhu appointed chairman of PCA technical & coaching committee

Chaman Lal was nominated chairman of the senior and Under-25 selection committee while Pankaj Dharmani would be the chairman of the Under-14,Under-16 and Under-19 selection committees. Also,GS Walia was nominated chairman of the Women Cricket Association while Satish Kakkar has been roped in as the chairman of the tournament and fixture committee. The ground and wickets committee would be headed by Daljit Singh while minor district committee would he headed by BK Mehta.

On the occassion,Viswajeet Khanna,treasurer of PCA,presented the budget for the tear 2012-2013,which was unanimously approved by the members. The Executive also approved the appointment of Internal Auditors for the current year.

Punjab to play four Ranji matches at home

Meanwhile,Punjab will play four Ranji Trophy matches at home and the decision about the venue would be taken after consultation with the cricket manager and coaches.
