Besides glamour outings,designer Anita Dongre also believes in fashion with a purpose. Her latest collection under the label Global Desi (in the picture) reiterates this. It features 16 designs inspired by the drawings of four children from Aseema,an NGO that works for the upliftment of underprivileged children. Rajesh Jadiyar,Roshni Jadhav,Reshma Bahamaniya and Rubina Khan,all in the age group of 10 to 20 years,have come up with a strong aquatic theme — from fishes to turtles and crabs. Dongre,on her part,has captured the free spirit and creativity of the children by using these motifs in her vibrant collection.
