Sec-33 robbery: Police teams dispatched to nab suspects

The Chandigarh Police has dispatched teams to three districts of Punjab to nab members of the gang involved in the Sector-33 robbery,in which businessman Lalit Behl was robbed after being abducted from the national highway between Kurukshetra and Shahbad in Haryana. Sources said police teams have left for Ferozpur,Amritsar and Gurdaspur late on Monday evening. “We are looking for Jaipal,a notorious member of the gang and resident of Ferozpur. There is a certain kind of war going on between the Chandigarh and Haryana Police to catch Jaipal. He played an instrumental role in the Sector-33 robbery,” sources said. SSP S S Srivaastava confirmed the report saying teams have been dispatched to arrest the suspects.
