The time has come to drive out the Manohar Lal Khattar government, said Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda Friday while seeking a rollback of changes made in CET qualifying rules. “Haryana has been in a deep sleep for four years. Now the time has come not to wake it up, but to drive it out. Congress would continue to provide voice to the anguish and pain of the youth of the state and raise the demands of the youth at all forums," said Deepender while leading a protest organised by Haryana Youth Congress in Karnal, the constituency that CM represents. Deepender said, “The government should give an opportunity to all the youths who qualify Common Eligibility Test in the recruitment and withdraw the changes made in the CET qualifying rules. Congress will raise the voice of the youth from streets to Vidhan Sabha and Parliament. If the present government does not accept the demands of the youth, then we will fulfil the demand of giving a chance to every CET qualified youth, when the Congress government is formed in the state." “This is not a question to test the general knowledge in a test, it has become a question of the lives of the youth of Haryana. Permanent government jobs are being converted into temporary ones through Skill Corporation. All the recruitments are pending. Two lakh government posts are lying vacant, recruitments are getting stuck or are falling prey to scams," the Congress MP added. Addressing the protesters, Deepender announced that if the existing vacant government posts are not filled, then two lakh government posts would be filled after the Congress government is formed in Haryana. Deepender also congratulated Haryana Youth Congress president Divyanshu Budhiraja and the entire team of Youth Congress on organising a successful programme.
