RIMT organises patriotic song competition Manimajra: RIMT World School,Manimajra,organised an inter-house patriotic group song competition on Monday for students of Class V to IX. The school is observing August as the Indias Independence month and has been conducting many activities like a debate competition on the subject Elections are necessary in free India,for Class IX. Classes V-IX participated in a quiz based on the saga of freedom. A Collage-making activity with the theme of Independence was also organised. Elocution competition held at Saupins Panchkula: Saupins School,Panchkula,on Monday hosted an inter-school elocution competition,Acme - 2013,in which a number of schools from the tricity participated. The initiative was taken to build confidence and enhance the public-speaking abilities of the students. The hall resounded with the likes of,Seven Stages of Man by William Shakespeare and Charge of The Light Brigade by Alford Lord Tennyson. Municipal Councillor Bhavna Gupta was the guest of honour at the programme.
