Popular Punjabi singer Honey Singh has alleged that he is receiving death threats from fugitive gangster Goldy Brar.
The singer visited the Delhi police headquarters on Wednesday to lodge a complaint with police commissioner Sanjay Arora and seek security.
#WATCH | Delhi | I was in America when my manager got threat calls in which death threats were given to me. I have given a complaint to the police commissioner and he said they will probe it. I think the Special Cell will probe it. I have given all the info and evidence to them:… pic.twitter.com/8B9eEFEXan

Speaking to television channels, Honey Singh said, “Fear has gripped me and my entire family. It’s only natural to be afraid of death. This is the first instance of such a threat directed towards me. I have been fortunate to receive immense love from people.”
The rapper said both he and his staff had received calls from international numbers, along with voice notes from a person claiming to be
Goldy Brar. “I have presented all the evidence to the Commissioner and urged him to provide me with security and initiate an investigation into the matter. At present, I am feeling extremely unsettled and disturbed.”
Goldy Brar, as associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, is the main accused in the killing of singer Sidhu Moosewala. He has now been listed as one of
Canada’s 25 most wanted fugitives by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Brar, who entered Canada on a student visa in 2017, is also on the ‘Bolo (Be On the Lookout) list of the Canadian authorities.
