Preparations on for Chhath Puja at Chandigarh Sector 42 Lake

Key works completed include the installation of CCTV cameras and the establishment of a 24×7 control room to maintain vigilance against unauthorised activities. Additionally, adequate lighting arrangements with power backup have been provided to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply. The bridge at the lake has been repaired and painted while the entire premises have been thoroughly cleaned. Proper parking facilities have also been arranged for the convenience of devotees and the general public.

The Purvanchal Welfare Association appreciated the dedicated efforts of the UT Engineering Department for completing the necessary works well before the festival, thereby facilitating the smooth and safe conduct of Chhath Puja celebrations.
