When Aussie fast bowler Brett Lee sang Ronan Keatings When you say nothing at all on Indian national television a few years ago,all young ladies went weak in their knees. And when he teamed up with Asha Bhosle for a music album, his fan base grew by leaps and bounds. Lee,who has a huge fan following in India both for his cricket as well as his music was in Mumbai to launch his first social campaign,Vh1 Spread the Music. The project is a collaboration between international entertainment channel Vh1 and Lees charity foundation,MEWSIC. Music is an essential part of my life. We being the fortunate ones dont realise the struggles underprivileged children have to go through. We just want to give them an opportunity to realise their dreams, said Lee about the initiative. Lee,who was also giving the tabloids a run for their reports with his blink-and-you-miss link-up with Kings XI Punjab owner Preity Zinta, said India is like a second home to him. On being asked who were his closest friends in India,he replied,Id gotten to know Preity Zinta very well when I played for Kings XI Punjab, and yes, shes one of my closest friends in India. Do we hear the paparazzi go into a tizzy again?
