Police send reminder to doctors who conducted post-mortem

Police on Monday,detained taxi drivers to ask their whereabouts on the day of the murder. Police on December 3,had sent a set of questions to the doctors in order to find clues that would help them solve the case. The queries included the time between the death of the girl and the body being found,the nature of injuries found on the body and the source of blood found in the nostrils and around the ears of the deceased.

The post-mortem report suggested that the girl was sexually assaulted before she was murdered. According to police sources,vaginal injury,injuries on the neck and six other injuries were found on her body. A resident of Palsora village,the deceased was reported to be missing on November 27. Later,police found the body of the girl in a jute sack near Sector 52 forest area. A plastic rope was found tied around the girl’s neck suggesting that she was strangulated.
