PGI to float tender to rent out medical stores

As per the new bidding criterion, the chemist offering the highest discount on the total amount payable by the customer would be preffered

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) will soon float a tender to rent out a medical store on trial basis to implement its newly passed “highest discount offer to patients” shop-allocation method.

The institute body of the PGI had recently decided to use the “highest discount offered” as the criterion to bid for the auction of medical shops, leaving aside the “highest rent offered” method. As per the new bidding criterion, the chemist offering the highest discount on the total amount payable by the customer would be preffered.

However, the rent the chemists would be required to pay for the store rented to them remains to decided by PGIMER authorites.
